6th Annual Golf Tournament

The 6th Annual Lawson Alumni Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, July 15 at the Hidden Valley Golf Course in Lawson. The tournament was a great success. Despite the sweltering hot weather, 21 golf teams participated in the tournament. This year’s champion team consisted of Rhett Fregoe (2006), Grant Curtis (2000), Levi Lightfoot (2006), and Brett Harrison (2005), with a score of 55 (17 under par)!

The golf tournament is one of two main fundraisers that the Lawson Alumni Association hosts during the year. The Alumni Association also hosts an annual basketball tournament in the spring. These two fundraisers provide funding we need to award scholarships and program enhancements every year to the students of Lawson School.

The Lawson Alumni Association was excited to welcome several new hole sponsors this year. We would like to thank all the businesses that sponsored a hole or donated items. We would also like to thank all of those who played in, worked at or helped prior to the golf tournament. Without your help, we would not be able to give back to the Lawson students and school.
